The Audi TT's original shape with its curved roof is a real design classic. More pronounced and geared to the zeitgeist, a brand new edition can now be seen in showrooms. At the German Essen Motor Show in 2014, ABT Sportsline featured its interpretation of this racey Audi coupé, a world premiere. 'The purist body gives us a lot of leeway for differentiation', says CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt. At the ABT Sportsline booth at the Essen Motor Show, the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen and Audi Group presented a comprehensive body kit for this new edition, which is in line with a number of TT conversions by ABT for both public roads and race tracks, including the DTM touring car winner ABT TT-R from 2002, driven by Laurent Aiello. No less spectacular were the derived road versions TT Limited, TT Limited Widebody and Limited II, which, given their small number, show real collector’s potential. And of course ABT also has two attractive performance and styling packages for the 2nd TT generation.
20 years ago, the Audi A8 premiered in the German premium class and firmly established the company there. 'And if you needed even more exclusivity or horse power, you could always contact ABT Sportsline,' says Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group: 'On the occasion of this anniversary, we again provide an extensive upgrade for the A8’s third generation’s facelift variant.'
The Audi S1, stylish and sporty to begin with, has now been enhanced by ABT Sportsline, the globally leading tuner of cars produced by the Audi and Volkswagen Group, and it doesn’t stop with the engine. Suspension springs, perfect aerodynamics and ABT wheels round off the package, turning this sporty Audi into a high-end hot hatch.
Indeed, there are calm, slender heroes that are not considered for what they are made of.Real athletes, however, are carved from a different piece of wood - including biceps, six-pack, and strong Bavarian calves. With the ABT RS5-R, the worldwide biggest car tuner of the Audi and Volkswagen Group has such a world-class athlete in its program that accelerates from 0 to 100 in 4.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of up to 290 km/h.
